Pricing

Side by side
What actually differs.
The paycheck, the tax set-aside and the reserve are identical on every plan. What you pay more for is accounts, people and support.

Worth saying out loud
Three things about the money.
60 days, not 14
A two-week trial tells you nothing here — the reserve hasn't filled and you haven't had a bad month yet. Sixty days gets you two real paychecks and one uncomfortable week. No card up front.
Leaving takes two clicks
Cancel and the mandate is revoked immediately. Your reserve and tax balances are already in your own accounts, so nothing needs to be returned. We delete your transaction history within 30 days and email you when it's done.
The price is the price
No transaction fees, no percentage of income, no charge for extra transfers, no premium tier for the feature you actually need. If we raise prices we give existing customers twelve months at the old rate.
Billing questions
Before you put a card in.
We email you on day 53 and day 59. If you do nothing, the trial ends and Larkspur stops moving money — it does not roll into a paid plan on its own. You keep your reserve, your tax balance and your export; you just stop getting a smoothed paycheck.
Yes, both directions. Upgrades take effect immediately and we pro-rate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the next billing date so you don't lose a feature you're mid-way through using. There's no fee either way.
Genuinely, yes. If your trailing twelve-month revenue drops below $30,000 we move you to Solo at $9 a month until it recovers, and we do it automatically rather than waiting for you to ask. It happens about forty times a year.
No. A busy month with forty deposits costs the same as a quiet month with two. The fee covers the account, not the activity — charging per transfer would make us want you to have more transfers, which is a bad incentive to build a company on.
Ten clients, billed at $14 each — so $140 a month is the floor. Below ten clients you are better off having each client on their own Studio plan and taking the accountant invite, which costs you nothing.
Your bank. Larkspur is registered with the FCA as an Account Information and Payment Initiation Service Provider in the UK, and works through a licensed partner bank for US ACH. We are not a deposit-taking institution and we never hold a customer balance.
Find out what your steady number is.
Connect an account read-only, or just type six months of figures in by hand. Larkspur tells you the paycheck it could hold, before you commit to anything.
No card. Cancel by email or in two clicks. We delete your data within 30 days.
